7月7日讯，根据国外科技媒体 Computer Base 报道，英特尔方案在 2024 年发布采用 Intel Process 3 工艺的 Granite Rapids-D 外设芯片。
该媒体还曝光了 Granite Rapids-D 外设芯片的 PPT 幻灯片，显示新芯片将成为 Xeon D-1700 和 D-2700 (Ice Lake-D) 类型的继任者，根据 Intel 3 工艺，相比较前代具有更高的核心密度。
IT之家援引该媒体报道，英特尔方案 2024 年年末推出 Granite Rapids-AP 和 Granite Rapids-SP 服务器处理器，因此估测新款 Xeon-D 芯片（Granite Rapids-D）要等到 2025 年。
